There are two types of reverse cameras :  wired and wireless .  The wired method is simple and reliable   but it requires wiring inside the vehicle body    The wireless method does not require wiring inside the vehicle body and is easy to install    but requires the addition of a wireless receiving module    Due to the unsatisfactory reception performance of wireless receiving modules nowadays   they are more or less susceptible to interference from the usage environment    Generally    reverse cameras still use wired methods
The following question is :  How can a portable navigation system know that the user is reversing and immediately switch to the rearview function 

 

There are three ways : 
The first method is the dumbest but also the simplest and most reliable    which is to use the buttons on portable navigation
A certain button can be defined as a reverse rearview switch button    Before reversing    the user presses this button and the system immediately switches to reverse rearview mode    After reversing, press the button again and the system will switch back to its original interface   This method is simple and reliable    and there is no need to add anything to the extension part of the bracket   But it requires manual operation and is not intelligent enough

 

The second method is to detect the reverse signal (the simplest method is to take the control signal from the reverse light)   When the user engages the reverse gear    the reverse light lights up and provides a switch signal    which is used to control the switch of the reverse image system   This method is quite intelligent    with good accuracy and stability

 

The third method is to continuously check whether the CVBS signal is valid within the written navigation system to determine whether it is reversing   When reversing    turn on the reversing camera    and the camera will send a CVBS composite video signal to the interior of PND through the bracket interface    If PND detects a valid video signal    it is considered to be in reverse mode    This method can be considered the most intelligent and accurate method
